Another lapse since the last post, oh well. I began to realize that we have a large number of still photos of family and kids, but video came to an abrupt halt with the end of tape technology. A few weeks back I saw our ten month old daughter stand up on her own, if only for a second, and I immediately requested a new video camera to capture our time together.
Father’s day proved a worthy event for a fantastic gift from my beloved wife and children. I was presented with a Sony Handycam as a shared present for the family. We immediately put it to use playing, laughing and capturing simple time together. It’s impossible to grab hold of time and really understand the rate at which it passes. Not all of our favored time will be recorded, but if just a glimpse to remind us of the joy and grace God provides a family, then we should simply be grateful.
